    Implementation of Lean Manufacturing Tools in Garment Manufacturing Process

    Lean manufacturing is a set of tools which are implemented to reduce the through put time, overall wastages and it increases the productivity, quality and overall affiance of an operation. There are different tools of lean manufacturing which are implemented for improvement of any operation. This research implements the two basic tools of lean one is value stream mapping and other is 5s. Value Stream Mapping is used to provide the customer with maximum satisfaction along with creating a process with minimal waste in design, assembly, and sustainability. 5S is a system used to help make production more efficient and cost-effective. The system involves 5 individual processes, or pillars. These pillars focus mainly on eliminating waste and creating a more organized workplace.
