Item PREVALENCE OF UROLIATHISIS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS DIAGNOSED ON COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) KIDNEY URETER BLADDER (KUB) AND IT’S ASSOCIATION WITH DIETARY FIBRE(UMT, Lahore, 2022) Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Hamid, Kashaf Maqsood, Laiba Naveed, Umair Ahmed and Amsa Zafar GulzarThe main purpose of our study was to evaluate the prevalence of urolithiasis at different locations diagnosed by Computed Tomography(CT) Kidney Ureter Bladder (KUB) and also associates the patient diagnosis with the dietary fiber. According to our sample size of 99 patients, there were 88 males (88.9%) and 11 females (11%). And the mean age of the patients in our study was around 38.6 with the maximum age of the subject was around 65 year and the minimum age of the patient was around 16 years with the standard deviation of 11.1. According to our study around 35 % patients had the clinical symptom of fever and around 52 % had hematuria along with ureteric stones. The common location of stones in the right ureter detected by CTKUB were distal, middle, proximal and vesicoureteric junction with about 52 % had distal right ureteric stone, 21 % patients had middle ureteric stone and 13 % patient had vesicoureteric junction of right ureter. Simultaneously, the locations of ureteric stones detected by CTKUB in the left ureter was almost the same with the slight change in the frequency of stone, according to our study patients who had distal ureteric stone were 26% , patients with middle ureteric stones were 40, patients who had proximal ureteric stone were 1 and patients who had stones in the vesicoureteric junction was 20.And the maximum size of stone detected by CTKUB in our sample of 99 patients was 9.5mm and minimum size of stone detected by CTKUB in our sample of 99 patients was 4.1mm.
