    Tracking of the registration number from the vehicle is an important task, which demands intelligent solution. Identifying registration number without direct human intervention for traffic surveillance is important field of interest. The speed with which technology is getting maturity is enough for employing various systems like traffic violations monitoring. We are looking for some fully automated systems that are competent enough in order to regulate the traffic. Vehicle verification, is an active area in image processing as well as traffic management. Managing traffic and providing security is a serious issue. Because of increasing tendency in employment of vehicle in crimes anomalies have to be found with the help of technology and its advancements. Possibility of blacklisted vehicles cannot be ruled out. So, we need a digital system to efficiently track culprits.
