Hardware implementation of single phase transformer less
(UMT.Lahore, 2016) Ghazanfar Abbas; Muhammad Khubaib; Muhammad Noman Sadiq; Farhan Raza
In the present, transformer less uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) are replacing the old technology of transformer based uninterrupted (UPS) at commercial and industrial level. Transformer based UPS are heavy weight and less efficient at the variation of the load. To overcome these problem a highly efficient, reliable and with a low weight transformer less uninterrupted power supply design is purposed in this paper. Transformer less power supplies (UPS) provide high quality energy to the load, these can also supply the constant power to the critical loads. By using latest transistors like lGBTs and MOSFETs we can reduce switching losses and weight of the UPS. Furthermore, transformers less uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) have high efficiency and constant output voltage with the variation of the load.
