    Throughput time
(UMT, Lhr, 2014) Muhammad Bakhsh; Muhammad Mirsab Afzal; Abdul Qadir
Throughput time is the rate at which firms achieved a goal in given period of time. High throughput time is less suitable then low throughput time for any firms because reduction in throughput time is given more productivity efficiency and efficiently. Throughput time is a very useful key performance indicator that tells us the efficiency of any production line. The production time of any production line consist of processing time, queue time and the inspection time. Therefore by focusing on these parameters the throughput time can be reduced. After conducting the time and method study, the standard time is allocated to any specific production order that is called SAM. Therefore, in this study the SAM (standard allowed minutes) is focused to reduce the throughput time.
