Development of decision support system based on similarity measures in picture fuzzy hypersoft environment
(UMT Lahore, 2024-01-22) Muhammad Imran Harl
The world is evolving with humanity learning from processing immense amounts of data available in various forms, no matter how convoluted it may seem, in the hope that it may lead to some insight. Processing the data in multiple ways has allowed for a more analytic and scenario-based understanding of current affairs, allowing for effective decision-making in science and business. For this purpose, numerous mathematical and computational tools have been designed to analyze these problems. Among these computational methods, a novel concept of picture fuzzy hypersoft set that works for evaluating uncertainty using membership, non-membership, neutral, and multi-argument functions. This study is multi-faceted with respect to its research objectives. The first objective is to define and explore fundamental properties within the picture fuzzy hypersoft set environment such as subset and aggregation operations include union, intersection, complement, or, restricted union, extended union, restricted intersection and extended intersection. Each of the properties and operations be characterized with detailed examples to demonstrate their application and utility in the picture fuzzy hypersoft set environment. Secondly, performance evaluation is a critical process in organizations as it provides valuable insights into employee productivity, identifies areas of improvement, facilitates fair reward systems, and ultimately contributes to the overall growth and success of the company. Most evaluations are based on human intuitionistic data, and performance attributes are divided into sub-attributes for a fair and detailed evaluation. For handling attributes at a sub attributes level, a novel lattice ordered picture fuzzy hypersoft set introduced, which provides a more valuable structure for certain decision-making problems where uncertainty associated with picture fuzzy sets and the ordering among parameters is crucial. The utilization of lattice ordered picture fuzzy hypersoft set can enhance decision-making processes by introducing a systematic and ordered representation of parameters. For a detailed illustration of the designed structure, basic operations are defined, which are then used to develop an employee performance evaluation system that incorporates information in the form of membership degree, non-membership degree, and abstinence degree while also addressing the issue of parametric ordering. The structure offers great flexibility and versatility in addressing decision-making problems commonly arising in human resource management, as most data is based on human intuition.
