Design and fabrication of geyser heat exchanger for room heating
(UMT Lahore, 2022-09) Sajawal Hassan; Abdul Qudoos; Muhammad Hamza
The drastic energy crisis that Pakistan is facing and day after day augmenting fuel prices in international market, it pertinent to device such equipment, which can provide us with the fold with the same amount of energy, input. We have device such apparatus successfully. First cad model done on solid work software. Heat load calculation done on single story house for estimating heat load of that house. We tried our best to make a geyser heat exchanger, which will use the warm water flowing in the pipe of this apparatus to produce warm air we are using the heat energy of warm water, which usually goes useless into environment. The goal we set on the beginning we achieved it; the geyser outlet temperature is about 80-85C. The heat we are getting from duct is 30 to 35 C during prototype testing. The temperature sensor used so that room doses not over heat. It shows good result.

    DreamBoard AI
(UMT.Lahore, 2025) Muhammad Awais; Asad Abbas; Muhammad Hamza
DreamBoard AI is a web based tool that helps filmmakers, animators and other creatives turn written ideas into full storyboards in minutes instead of hours. Using large language model (LLM) “scene planners” and Flux based image engines, the system writes a structured plan for each scene and then generates four matching frames while keeping characters, lighting and style consistent. A Python “Consistency Engine” checks every new frame with YOLO v8, CLIP and DeepFace to be sure the main characters still look the same from shot to shot. Users can edit, in paint, regenerate single frames or export the final board as PDF, PNG or ZIP. Real time WebSocket updates, JWT secured accounts and a PostgreSQL + AWS S3 backend make the app fast, safe and scalable. Internal tests show the first image appears in under 25 seconds and overall character matching accuracy reaches about 89 percent. By automating repetitive drawing tasks, DreamBoard AI lowers pre production costs and lets storytellers focus on creativity.

    Electricity bill payment system
(UMT, Lhr, 2018) Zeeshan Ahmad Maan; Muhammad Hamza; Muhammad Asif; Hammad Ashraf
There are many existing Wapda websites like Lesco or Roshan Pakistan and there are many features in this websites from where we get help and add some more features in our project. In our project. First of all we do online payment from where client can easily pay his/her bill sitting at home in just few clicks. There is no online transaction of bills in any website except UBL. Second one user can also request for a new connection sitting at home before this we have to stand in a queue to apply for a new connection now it is much easier and we add records history from where user can see their all previous paid bills. User can also complain if he/she is facing some problem and can also rate the service and can also see the status of the complaint and user can give rating to resolve complaints. We hope that with help of our project people get advantage. They save their time. They can pay their bills by sitting in home instead of stand in queues.

    Identification of Urban Renewal Sites
(UMT Lahore, 2025) Muhammad Hamza; Arslan Naeem
Cities are trying to adapt to the rapidly changing global trends by regenerating themselves. Approaches and practices of urban renewal are different in several countries. In Pakistan’s cities, particularly in the past decade, urban renewal practices, processes and consequences have sparked several debates. The ‗new‘ gained or converted spaces in the city are also significant in terms of their impacts on urban identity. In this context, this research study aims to identify the influences of urban renewal, which occurred in the historical city centers, as in the case of Lahore. The research study determines general framework of urban renewal and then, defines a conceptual framework for assessing and locating inner city renewal sites. This research develops a Geographic Information System (GIS) - based spatial framework to solve issues related to urban renewal sites. The framework consists of three main modules: land information database. In the process of developing this framework, two tasks are completed. Initially, key factors affecting land-use decision making in urban renewal planning are identified and are then quantitatively examined from five perspectives of land attributes: inherent/physical, social, environmental and recreational. Secondly, spatial analysis of the above-mentioned features is carried out by using GIS. Several new planning approaches such as scenario planning, public participation, and collaborative interaction are included in this framework to improve the planning processes by enhancing their adoption and application in urban planning. This proposed framework is found to be a useful tool for both practitioners and researchers involved in sustainable planning for urban renewal.

Safety management of construction projects using building information modeling
(UMT.Lahore, 2022) Muhammad Abdullah; Muhammad Hamza; Bazil Hassan Saif; Usama Khalil
With the increasing rate of urbanization in recent decades, there has been an acceleration in the development of the construction industry as a result of which there are numerous safety risks associated with it. Construction is rated as one of the most dangerous industries in the world with the major causes of accidents are being hit by an item, falling, electricity, exposed to fire, struck by a moving object. Building fires are by far the most widely recognized type of fire, and the majority of fires happen during building maintenance and operation. Fire assessment should be performed to minimize fire risk and increase preventative capabilities. To do as such, Building information modelling (BIM) is a useful tool in three-dimensional visualization and statistical information storage for improvement of construction planning and maintenance. This specific study creates a BIM-based model to help with building fire safety management. The model was divided into three modules (i) BIM-based facility design, (ii) Fire safety management in the building through various devices and (iii) Occupant evacuation evaluation. The proposed study aims to conduct several evacuation and fire simulations using a BIM-based model through the application of FDS and pathfinder. An experimental implementation was carried out to validate the proposed framework, which confirmed the benefits of using BIM in providing a platform for conducting simulation design and annotating simulation results of potentially dangerous fire zones, appropriate and efficient escape routes, Depicting fire growth using the FDS. As an outcome, the simulation outputs may be utilized to check the Rset and Aset time for safe occupant’s evacuation. The suggested framework will help in building fire safety management by allowing for the reduction of injuries/fatalities as well as property damage
