Synthesis of Period-IV Transition Metal/ZnO/g-C3N4 Composites and their Potential Applications
    (UMT.lahore, 2020) Muhammad Azam Qamar
Today the world has made outstanding progress in modern technology but at the cost of threatening environmental problems. The crucial environmental issues currently humanity is facing include industrial and domestic wastewater containing different pollutants such as pathogens, non-biodegradable chemicals and dyes. Therefore, it is essential to expound green and resourceful techniques to eradicate hazardous chemicals and toxicants from the environment. In recent years, as a prospective “green” solution to the environmental issues, semiconductor photocatalysis under sunlight has been recognized as an operative approach. Photocatalysis by zinc oxide (ZnO) is a capable route to degrade organic pollutants because of its inimitable properties.
