Item IOT based smart classroom automation(UMT Lahore, 2025) Hafiz Muhammad Furqan Saeed; Muhammad Aqeel Asad; Bilal Ahmed KhanThe IoT based smart classroom automation is an innovative system that automates classrooms by using Tuya platform. The increasing need for energy efficiency and automation has significantly influenced the education sector. Traditional classroom management often results in unnecessary power consumption and operational inefficiencies due to manual control of electrical devices. This study introduces an IoT-based Smart Classroom Automation System that integrates motion sensors, infrared (IR) sensors, smart switches, and Zigbee-based communication to enhance classroom management. Our system automates the devices like lights, AC, fans, and projectors which reduced the human involvement and also make the energy usage system more efficient. With the help of TOYA IOT cloud platform, our system controlling the devices by using the remote control and real time monitoring system which can increase the efficiency and accuracy of our system. Our project allows us to control the devices from anywhere by using TUYA platform with access of internet. This project helps us to solve major issues like energy wastage, low level of centralized control and risk of security by using the automates scenario schedule, response on the basis of motion, and by secure or restricted access of control. We also add the voice command like Alexa, Google Assistant and further more ai voice through which user can control the on and off of devices which also increase the efficiency of our system. This can show us that the automation of the classrooms helps us in reduced the power usage, also lower our maintenance costs and also improve the efficiency of overall classroom. Our system provides a very cost effective, sustainable and efficient solution which make our environment our energy efficient, smarter and healthy.
