(umt.lahore, 2021) Hafiz Bilal Asghar; Muhammad Abdullah Waseem; Asma Khalid Jamil; Hamdan Tahir; Shanza Akhtar
In this project we are going to overall look into the problems that the company is facing. The company was dealing in retails business from a long time but when it jumped into manufacturing the shoes it faced several loop holes. The main three problems faced by Servis were related to Lead Time, Ample Inventory, Production Capacity. Due to these problems in supply chain and production the company is facing loss and profit minimization. When the ordered inventory is not produced as per the pre decided date due to low capacity production then as a result they are not dispatched and delivered on time (lead time) then the sales steadily go down which is the reason that the hold inventory (ample inventory) is cleared by using sales and discounts. We have discussed findings and solutions to bring optimization in the production process and supply chain by considering all the facts and figures.
