    Lean manufacturing Impact on Supply Chain Performance

    Manufacturing organizations in an emerging economy like Pakistan are faced with challenges such as low to moderate quality and high cost of production. Lean practices are being adopted in manufacturing industry of developed countries around the globe to increase supply chain performance. However, scarce research literature is available that highlights the benefits achieved from Lean practices in manufacturing industry of developing countries. The objective of this research is to analyze the use of Lean practices in manufacturing organizations of Pakistan and study their impact on supply chain performance.
