Manufacturing of perfume from the extract of sandalwood
    (UMT, Lhr, 2020) Memoona Riaz
The use of fragrances and the interest of humans towards scents have a long history. For ages, humans have done a lot of work in developing new scents. Perfume has been used in a large number of products in everyday life. The sandal was known as the most famous sandalwood oil of the East Indian region for its aroma. Extract of sandalwood, Corum, and T20 (used as fixer) was used to make different compositions of fragrances such as 1ml, 2ml, and 3ml of sandalwood + 0.5ml Corum. Names and numbers were given to compositions for handling and identification. To increase the endurance time of compositions, fixer was used. To check the quality of fragrances, a survey was conducted. The graphs were plotted by using the results of the survey. Among all compositions, SC6 composition was liked by the majority of people for its soft and intense essence.
