    Research-based teacher education in finalnd

    Finland has been remained among top ten countries in PISA assessment during last two decades. Finnish researchers have claimed that the basic reason behind the success of Finnish school education was that their universities were producing teachers through research-based teacher education. Research-based teacher education considers teacher as consumers of the research as well as producers of the research. Doctoral dissertations are well documented presentation of the research produced by teacher education students based on the research which was consumed by them during their studies. This study was aimed to explore research trends and research methodological trends in Ph.D. educational sciences’ dissertations in Finland. Journal articles are presentation of the research trends in the relevant discipline. This was also aim of the study to explore the correlation between doctoral dissertations and journal articles produced by Finnish researchers in the area of educational sciences to answer the question that how much teacher education was research based in Finland? This study is a content analysis of doctoral dissertations and journal articles concerning educational sciences in Finland between the years 2007 to 2018. Two hundred doctoral dissertations at the department of teacher education in Finnish universities were analyzed. 10,000 research articles from Scopus indexed journals were analyzed to find out research trends in educational sciences at the national level in Finland. The correlation was used to find out the association between articles trends and doctoral dissertations trends. The research methodology of the dissertations was analyzed through a checklist. Results showed that versatile research methodologies were used in educational sciences research in Finland. There was a correlation between doctoral research trends and journal articles in educational sciences in Finland. This study was a knowledge addition to understand research trends and research methodological trends in educational sciences of Finland. This research has also found out the fact that Finnish teacher education is research based because teachers are produced for versatile research methodologies and recent research trends in educational sciences by teacher education departments of Finnish universities. This research would be useful for teacher education institutions to develop policies, curricula, pedagogical skills and assessment of the teacher education program for research based teacher education. Future studies can be conducted to explore the impact of research based teacher education on Finnish school education. Key words: research –based teaching, research methodology in thesis.

    Smart class monitoring and schedule display system for umt

    The main objective is to solve the energy crises in Pakistanby using our automation sensor. The PIR sensor we are using in our project control the load connected in our rooms.pir sensor when detect the human body send a signal to relay which is directly connected with our load. The automation system is control by a pic-16f877a which is connected by a serial port with computer. In our computer excel time for rooms is uploaded when the time of excel is match with computer then it send signal to pic which further open the appliance. From this network we can save our energy.
