    Plant leaf gas analysis using convolutional neural network

    Plants are the most beautiful objects in this real world that glue the human environment with their fragrance and make the environment clean, healthy and attractive for the seeing people. In the previous two decades, Digital Image Processing, Computer vision, and Image Analysis tools have been sharply developed. Now they have become the very essential part of the Artificial intelligence and the interface between humans and machines. The neural network is used for low computational cost and to improve the accuracy rate.mThe work focuses on the extraction of Plant-Leaf gas with their features using CNN from the camera image or data set of images. The objective of this thesis covers the extraction of the actual level of the leaf gas known as CH and N. Our contribution in this work includes the studies of texture and geometric features, analyze the ratio of chlorophyll and nitrogen in both healthy and dead leaf and the study of color-based methods as well as the deep learning to the neural network in this regard. This project implies several steps, starting with the image preprocessing, testing, training, enhancement, segmentation, feature extraction and finally obtaining the results implementation in MATLAB.
