“Qualitative study for the design & development of a Modular “Table-Top Model" of a Modern International Airport to be used as a study tool for the airport design course.”
(UMT, Lahore, 2022) MUJEEBUR RAHMAN; MAJID AHMED QURESHI; MUHAMMAD SAQIB HASSAN; MARWA RIAZ; AYESHA KHAN; MARYAM AWAN
We designed the international airport model for the knowledge of upcoming and future students and for the awareness of public. It is difficult for the majority to visit every part of airports and couldn’t be able to understand and identify problems that face architects and planners of real airport during construction so the airport model will help the students to identify and understand the layout, design, and any potential problem and how as a planner they resolve these problems. This miniature replica of airport will prove itself a permanent asset for IAS, UMT for the faculty to demonstrate on it whenever and wherever it is required to them during imparting knowledge to their concerned students.
