    (UMT, Lahore, 2021) Khizra Tabassum
Software projects development success depends upon managerial process that requires knowledge and application of SPM practices, techniques and tools. Software industries are facing the threatening rate of project failure, over budget and overdue issues. This consequence is worst in Pakistan having immature s/w industries. The main reason seems the negligence of SPM practices application on part of project managers. This research is analytical review of software managerial process followed by managers in Pakistan s/w houses. This research critically identifies the root causes of lacking impact in managerial process. The research purpose is at looking into the basis of poor managerial process, for which it has considered to assess the application level of SPM practices by project managers. The goal of this research study is to bring improvements in the managerial process through exploring SPM practices. However, detail literature study has conducted, as part of which it has analyzed to research for managers managerial process. Questionnaire based survey has been conducted in local s/w industries at Lahore city in Pakistan. The findings highlight that projects are managing by poorly trained or untrained managers, as there is no proper application of SPM practices to manage the project efficiently. For improvement a set of suggestions are given that guides direction to s/w houses for changes that must implement in practice to improve. I also recommend standard SPMP framework from available theories for enactment and implementation of SPM practices to the s/w houses.

(University of Management and Technology Lahore, 2016) Khizra Tabassum; Jawad Ur Rehman; Sajid Hussain; Yasir Mahmood
To survive in better way we need to support each other all the time. Maybe the survival isn't possible without supporting each other. To survive in this world in better way number of organizations are working for the humanity and number of people are become the part of them those are called “Volunteer”. In past major problem was that there is no source which allows volunteer to be the part of organization those are working for the poor humanity. Internet allows us to develop a way or application which allows organizations and volunteers to interact with each other across the globe. Currently we are going to develop an online system to minimize gap between organizations and volunteers to serve the humanity around the world. Number of disaster occurring in Pakistan, in shape of earthquake, flood, drought, famines etc.. Number of non-profit organizations working but they can't manage their volunteers. Basically organizations are not much familiar and have not much technical sources those are familiarwith latest tools and technology to develop online solution / application to find and manage volunteers. However hundred and thousands of people interested to be the part of these organizations specially students and professionals. This softwaredesigned for the non-profit organizations to manage their volunteer's online system (database) and offer them to be the part of their team in case of disasters and other relief activities. People i.e. students, professionals, doctors, teachers and other can apply for their services through online ‘VMS' system to become a part of any non-profit organizations. Actually it's a plate-form for organizations and volunteers to come forth on a single way and manage their activities in good manner to serve the humanity without any restriction or without taking extra time.
