    (UMT.Lahore, 2019) KHALID MAHMOOD SOMROO
This study was designed to investigate the perception of teachers about the organizational culture of private schools of Lahore and relationship of this organizational culture to effectiveness of teachers in their institutions. Organizational culture has become a prime concern globally during this era and has become almost the significant precedence of any organization, especially in this period of advanced communication. This study was carried out in continuation of tradition and discovered the perception of teachers about organizational culture of private schools and its impact on their performance in context with different aspects of effectivity in private schools of Lahore. This study was based on quantitative research. The empirical data was gathered from the teachers of private schools of Lahore. Six private schools located in two towns of Lahore, Model Town and Gulberg Town, were conveniently selected to conduct the study. Both male and female teachers from these institutions were the part of the sample of the study. Researcher developed the instrument after extensive literature review about the organizational culture and effectiveness of teachers. The reliability of the tool for organizational culture was 0.947 and for teachers‟ effectiveness was 0.961. The instrument was comprised of two subscales; Organizational Culture of Private Schools and Teachers‟ Effectiveness. The data were analyzed through Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. Descriptive and inferential statistics (independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that instructional supervision plays a great role in teachers‟ motivation and it helps teachers to learn new techniques of teaching in a better way. Guidance and support provided to teachers by higher authorities of the organization plays a vital role in their grooming and growth as an effective teacher. Teachers are becoming more expert and competent with time and teaching at the same school for a long period of time.
