Item AR wardrobe(UMT, Lhr, 2023-08-16) Talha Zahid; Junaid Ahmad; Haris TallatDuring the modern-era, technology has enhanced the comfort level of the users. As the time progresses, Augmented Reality is expected to dominate the technological world. Now Augmented Reality is present everywhere, from applications like Snapchat to the sporting competitions like the T20 World Cup and FIFA World Cup. However, there is one industry which needs the facilities of AR immensely. In the fashion industry, the lack of virtual visualization of the outfits on the body has left people in the hectic process of physically testing the clothes repeatedly. Through AR Wardrobe, the individual can virtually try on T-Shirts, Jeans, Watches on his body using the smartphone camera. The application aims to provide a realistic experience of visualizing the outfit using Image Target modeling that fits on the body of the individual according to parameters like his body shape, size and shoulders.Item Design and development of a passive shoulder support exoskeleton(UMT Lahore, 2025-09-08) Muhammad Waleed Aziz; Junaid Ahmad; Kornellius SundhuThe design and development of a passive shoulder support exoskeleton is presented in this Thesis with the goal of minimising muscular strain in manual and industrial work situations during extended overhead duties. The lightweight, entirely mechanical exoskeleton supports the user’s upper limb without limiting their range of motion by using a ratchet pawl system and spring-loaded help. This passive technology is less expensive, uses less energy, and may be used in low-resource environments because it doesn’t require motors or other power sources like active exoskeletons do. CAD software was used to create the design, and fabricate using ABS material through 3D printing. Structural analysis was performed using Ansys Workbench to guarantee mechanical integrity under load. The device’s efficacy was assessed using electromyography (EMG) testing, which revealed a notable approximately 50% decrease in deltoid muscle activity during overhead exercises. With features that could be adjusted for user comfort and height alignment, the prototype demonstrated both functionality and ergonomics. In physically demanding jobs, this passive exoskeleton has a great potential to increase productivity, decrease work-related musculoskeletal diseases (WMSDs), and improve workplace ergonomics.Item Design and development of automatic scissor lift mechanism(UMT Lahore, 2021-08) Junaid Ahmad; Asadullah; M. TaimoorThe Scissor Lift Mechanism are often utilized as lifting frameworks in the business. These Framework are fundamentally liked to do support, fix and cleaning reason. In this project we have Design and Develop an automatic scissor lift. This Project preformed with having a load carrying Capacity of 150 KG and to raise, come down and stop at certain Heights. The 3-D Solid Design and assembly of the Automatic scissor Lift have been designed on mechanical software SOLIDWORKS. The Load Analysis of this project is also performed with the help of mechanical software ANSYS. Our project has a lot of uses in industry because we are making an automatic scissor lift which is controllable by Remote control and it can also go to at a certain height and come back to make our work easy. Our project is fully automatic which is powered with the help of a 12-volt DC Power Supply and we use a Hydraulic jack to lift the system up and down. The motor which is used in project is 12-volt motor and lift works on fully automatic mechanism and it is controllable with a Remote.
