    Islamic geometric
    (UMT Lahore, 2022-06-15) Irfan Haider
The topic I have selected for the thesis is Islamic geometrics. This means a lot to Islamic culture. A work of the artists development is an ideal and fantastic mix of straightforwardness and self-importance. Its basic plan with a blend of void spaces improves the inside in their way of life. The title of the theme is word "B", it is a word which means "?????" with refers Islamic geometric patterns are intricate imaginative plans made by rehashing, entwining, and joining fundamental geometric structures in enormous arrays. Islamic geometric examples are framed from essential shapes which are basically four. Making a connection with wonderful implantations, insides were one reason. The attempt was to introduce the specialty of decency and history in such a fun and euphoric way that would change and reevaluate the picture of the topic in certain personalities without a doubt. This thesis was intended to serene elevates the eminence yet keep it exceptionally negligible as far as supporting components like the future for this situation. Another reason to be satisfied was that I needed to design prints that were unisex even not utilized as home material items or home textile products. This record shows the most important, nice, decent, and excellent work for the middle elite class. The Turkish empire which is also famous by another name called the Ottoman Empire came into being in 1299 and the founder was Oghuz Turks in Anatolia's northwestern region under Osman I. Later, it spread to some parts of the Middle East, Northern regions of Africa, and East of Europe before the downfall of the empire in 1918 soon after World War I. Ottoman empire being part of the Islamic world at every level, produced some great pieces of Islamic art forms. Carpets have been an important craft in the Islamic world of the royal courts. Carpets are usually considered as a form of floor covering and nothing more but that is not the case with these types of carpets. As they are some beautiful artworks that have always been a symbol of wealth and status for the holders. Back then and even now carpets have been widely used as a form of gift between people who want to impress each other. These carpets are woven by hand and the women of the ottoman empire specifically learned the technique of weaving and used to pass it on to their daughters for decades. Even today there are many families in Turkey which hold pride in this craft from their forefathers. For this thesis, this theme was selected majorly because I have always had a keen eye for ottoman carpets and I had to dig into the theme whenever I was given a chance. So here it is, my opportunity to work with ottoman carpet designs and study them in-depth according to the requirements of the design. This thesis shall contain a step-by-step record of the development of textile designs in a documented form. The work shall be portrayed in interior textiles which will be showcased at the final display show.

    OFDM simulation using MATLAB
(UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, 2015) Junaid Hafeez Butt; Irfan Haider; Bilal Suleman
There are two types of Communication Systems. One is Single Carrier System and other is Multi Carrier System. In Single Carrier System, only one carrier can transmit the data stream, the bandwidth is higher and data rate maximum.Inter Symbol Interference (ISI)arises in these carrier systems and to evade it, the signal should meet the criterion set by nyquist. In a Multi Carrier System, commonly referred to as Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM)multiple carriers are transmitted in parallel having different bandwidth. This technique is rather complex to implement but by using this delay time is reduced. If the carriers are closely spaced with each other high data rate will be achieved. In multi carrier system, there occurs an issue of Inter Carrier Interference (ICI) because the carriers are so closely spaced with each other. Guard bands are placed between sub-carriers so that there will be no ICI.
