    Impact of Male and female workforce is very important from efficiency and absenteeism point of view. Due to this impact apparel industry is able to get the desired results regarding efficiency and absenteeism. Today involvement of Industrial Engineering department in the production has become very important and dire need of time. Industry people are more conscious about time and cost. So industry trend is moving to reduce cost and time for the benefits of apparel industry. The present research work has done to know about the problems of the labor and reason behind the lack of interest in work. By introducing proper techniques and solving the problems any industry can get the desired results which are beneficial for the apparel industry.

    Production planning with reference to gray woven fabric

    This research article is related to production planning and control. In this article we study the weak points of production planning and conclude the result after visiting 3 valuable unit of Pakistan. We 3 members visit the units work in shifts and try to conclude the points which planners miss while making the plan or controlling the project. These factors directly have an effect on our production but decrease our value after some time. It is some type of hidden loses of which we miss when we plan to save the cost. At the end of the article we write the points in form of results and discus them briefly.
