When analyzed with septal thickness category 83.15% female with family history of diabetes exhibit septal hypertrophy and 3.37% were normal. A statistically significant (P = 0.007) association lies between family history of diabetes and septal thickness. EF were normal in majority of cases and it was statistically insignificant (p= 0.691). In the LVDd category, 56.18% of all patients with decreased LVDd had a family history of diabetes statistically significant (p= 0.006).
