Uhf rfid based car parking system
(UMT Lahore, 2022) Hassan Mujtaba; Hafiz Abdullah
To minimize volume of traffic and to facilitate vehicle mobility in parking lots, residential areas, housing societies, and toll plazas, we established the e-Tag car parking system. Hardware component includes RFID Tags, UHF RFID Reader, Access Controller, Boom Barrier, Loop Detector and IR Sensor. A UHF RFID reader is deployed at access control point, capturing details of all incoming vehicles from the tag that is put on the car screen. We have used single channel TENET TLD vehicle loop detector. If the person is registered in the database, their tag becomes valid and car get access to the parking space.
