    A phenomenological study of rapid shift to online teaching mode for students with hearing impairment
    (UMT, Lahore, 2021) AHMAD SHAKEEL; FAHAD MUNIR AWAN
    This study investigated the experiences reported by students with hearing impairment. . Using a mixed method research, the researcher collected data from children with hearing impairment. Students age ranges from 19to 23 years with mild to moderate impairments. The objectives of the study are, underline the types of experiences students faced during online classes. To highlight the effect of Covid-19 on their student and personal life.. Investigate the effect of Covid on their minds. Major findings includes majority of students like to study on campus rather than online. Due to the lack of communication and interpretation students faced much difficulty. Most of the teachers provide support to their students. However, students does not feel satisfy during online sessions. Many students were not aware of the technology use, some faced electricity issues, and some of them felt distracted. Most of the male students reported that they felt exhausted at home while the females stated that they are not feeling convenient to study online because there is no proper study environment.
