Item “Imitated Wright Brothers Mini Museum at UMT”(UMT, Lahore, 2022) Hassan Anwar; Eman Fatima; Ayesha Khalid; Arisha Ahsan; Ahmar Maqsood; Muzammil Ahmed CheemaThe imitation of the mini museum based on the invention of aircrafts and human lights has been carried out to provide a clear picture of all the innovations as well as accomplishments of Wright brothers (of Wilbur and Orville Wright). We’ve tried to bring the whole scene of the birth of aviation to UMT-IAS Department because not everybody can visit the Kitty Hawk in order to get detailed information regarding the artifacts that we have displayed here. The students will not only learn about the various artifacts but will also get detailed knowledge regarding the history of the aviation and the birth of aviation as well as aeronautics, and the whole aerospace industry which was a long process lasted over century from 1799- 1914. The display of Museum not only involves the accomplishments and the major events of Wright brothers but also the courage and creativity of the men and women traversing several generations and many nations till now. In Pakistan, we are the first one who are trying to exhibit the museum in UMT and this museum (replica) will prove itself a permanent asset for the not only the IAS, students but also for the faculty to demonstrate every major event in aviation during imparting knowledge to their concerned students.Item Vehicle tracking system(UMT, Lhr, 2023) Muhammad Zubair Azeem; Nouraiz Mustafa Aslam; Eman FatimaThe Vehicle tracking system is an android application. These packages are designed to handle multiple company fleets and track cars. It could be used to perform operations, monitoring, and fleet management. Fleet management includes several functions such as car recovery, licenses, car telematics (monitoring and diagnostics), speed control, and driver management. A car tracking device is designed and implemented to monitor the movement of cars from any area at any time. The proposed machine used the famous era, which combines an intelligent program with a microcontroller. it can be simple and affordable compared to others. The proposed automotive tool works with a Global Positioning Machine (GPS) and Global Mobile Chat System / Standard Packet Radio Service Provider (GSM/GPRS), which is one of the most unusual methods of tracking vehicles. The Google Maps API is used to display the vehicle on the map in the mobile software. Therefore, if the consumer wishes, the moving vehicle can be shown continuously. to reveal the feasibility and effectiveness of the device, this article presents the test results of the car monitor and some sensible deployment experiences.
