HOLISTIC MEDICAMENT AND RESEARCH CENTRE FOR PALLIATIVE CARE LAHORE.
(University and Management and Technology, 2018) CHUGHTAI, MARIA
With the remarkable increase in the current population of the world, there has also been a significant increase in the number of patients that die each year due to a certain terminal illness. All these patients are in urgent need of palliative care, but in order to do so, they need to go to a hospice. Specifically those patients and their families that cannot even get a full meal once a day due to their economic condition, such facilities are non-existent. Our country is in dire need of hospices now because in order to provide better healthcare services to such patients and their families, such setups are indispensable. To us, the concept of hospice, palliative care and holistic medicine are relatively new. So, we are in experienced in these fields. There will be a teaching and training facility attached to it in order to educate the peers and bring about revolutionary breakthroughs with appropriate research in these fields. Plus such systems are either charity based or are run on government funding, some kind of setup for hospices is required to generate some revenue for the smooth and efficient running of the hospice. This project will house all the necessary support buildings and areas that will help in making it a peaceful abode for the terminally ill patients.
