Business Plan for use of electric powered Trike Paraglider in Pakistan
(UMT, Lahore, 2022) Hamza Nasir; Muhammad Kamran; Amir Rehman; Ahmad Shah; Abu Bakar; Basit Ali
The following research is a feasibility study of business idea for the use of power trike paragliders in Pakistan and sales and marketing of Aeroswat Power Paragliding Club (APPC). Power paragliding is of mainly two types. The first one is the traditional Internal Combustion(IC) engine type and second one is the electric powered paragliding. Advantages and cost benefit analysis of both types are compared with each other which shows electric powered paragliding is more suitable for paragliding business in Pakistan. For that, qualitative research through interviews of CEOs of different paragliding clubs, enthusiast of paragliding business holder and sponsoring company Technocrafts, industrial analysis, feasibility study and a proper business plan is prepared in this research to conclude decisions. The current study aims at feasibility of exploring the business opportunities and sales and marketing of paragliding business in Pakistan. After analyzing the facts, a number of recommendations have been suggested at the end for people to start-up and enter in this field of business.

Common fixed point theorem for a hybrid pair of mappings in hausdorff fuzzy metric spaces
(University of Management and Technology, 2012) M Abbas; Basit Ali; A Amini-Harandi
In this paper, we prove a coupled fixed point theorem for a multivalued fuzzy contraction mapping in complete Hausdorff fuzzy metric spaces. As an application of the first theorem, a coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorem has been proved for a hybrid pair of multivalued and single-valued mappings. It is worth mentioning that to find coupled coincidence points, we do not employ the condition of continuity of any mapping involved therein. Also, coupled coincidence points are obtained without exploiting any type of commutativity condition. Our results extend, improve, and unify some well-known results in the literature.

Fixed point of suzuki-zamfirescu hybrid contractions in partial metric spaces via partial hausdorff metric
(University of Management and Technology, 2013) M Abbas; Basit Ali
Coincidence point theorems for hybrid pairs of single-valued and multi-valued mappings on an arbitrary non-empty set with values in a partial metric space using a partial Hausdorff metric have been proved. As an application of our main result, the existence and uniqueness of common and bounded solutions of functional equations arising in dynamic programming are discussed.

Fixed points of Suzuki type generalized multivalued mappings in fuzzy metric spaces with applications
(Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2015) Naeem Saleem; Basit Ali; Mujahid Abbas; Zahid Raza
The aim of this paper is to introduce a class of multivalued mappings satisfying a Suzuki type generalized contractive condition in the framework of fuzzy metric spaces and to present fixed point results for such mappings. Some examples are presented to support the results proved herein. As an application, a common fixed point result for a hybrid pair of single and multivalued mappings is obtained. We show the existence and uniqueness of a common bounded solution of functional equations arising in dynamic programming. Our results generalize and extend various results in the existing literature.

Suzuki type fixed point theorems for generalized multi-valued mappings on a set endowed with two b-metrics
(Elsevier, 2012) Ljubomir C´ iric´; Mujahid Abbas; Miloje Rajovic´; Basit Ali
In this paper, we obtained Suzuki type fixed point results for a generalized multi-valued mapping on a set equipped with two b-metrics. As a consequence, existence and uniqueness of solution of functional equation arising in dynamical programming is also derived

    Tire pressure monitoring system
(University of Management and Technology, 2012) Basit Ali; Bilal Akram; Usama Jameel
We live in a world where numbers guide us to better outcomes and results. The numerical representations along with Artificial Intelligence have brought us new possibilities to make our life comfortable and safe. Safety in our road trips has always been an attraction to ambitious engineers. TPMS is one of such safety devices now being widely used all over the world. Tire Pressure Monitoring System – TPMS, as the name suggests, monitors the tire pressure of a vehicles and displays the results on the dashboard along with alerts in case of a deviation from the set value. In this project we have tried to lower the cost and make the device versatile for different kinds of vehicles and environments. Our design can be used as a principle unit in many industries where pressure measurement is vital and need frequent results.
