Design and fabrication of food delivery robot
(UMT Lahore, 2022-08) BILAL AKRAM; ALI AZMAT; M.MINHAAL
It was intended for the robot to serve as a delivery assistance and helper on jobs like food delivery assignments. The goal of this project is to create an automated delivery robot at a cheap manufacturing cost utilising the resources already in place. We draw on our collective expertise in mechaical, programming, and machine design. The mechanical system of the robot consisted of movement, grasping, and lifting mechanisms, and each component was created using SOLID WORKS. DC motors, servo motors, and a few more sensors, including gyroscopes and ultrasonic sensors, made up the robot's electrical system. The robot is controlled by a single "EXP 32 controller," which aids in controlling the movement of the hand and locomotion motors, respectively. Runs open-cv for object detention on EXP-32 for avoiding obstructions in its intended path. A hand is made to hold a food item in a specific posture.
