    Revelation of Hiking

    Hiking is defined in The Merriam-Webster as “to walk long distance especially for pleasure or exercise”. There is different type of hiking such as, day hiking, summit hiking and long distance hiking. Hiking is something you are travelling from the bottom to the upper level smoothly or by facing some difficulty. Hiking can be dangerous depending on the track chosen by the hiker. The people who used to go for hiking or used to explore the world or country. They used to take different surviving material with them. It inspired me that how they explore different places and survive there without any comfort. Hiking must have some essentials which are necessary. The purpose of this project is to develop such garments which will help the hikers to carry less equipment that can be portable and easily transformable. The hikers carry all the things in a single backpack which is heavy to carry. Many types of equipment are made for hiking before such as camps boots bags etc. This project is to study what are the basic requirements of the hikers. Than to make such patterns and clothing which will be able to be transformed into different equipment tent, sleeping bag, backpack etc. The project will be done in order to fulfill the requirement of the hiker that he needs while hiking. Thus in hiking we need the clothes that are warm and water proof, so seen and parachute fabric can be used in making the garments. The project will be based on jackets and different style of coats that can be convertible into different equipment for hikers. This will be a helpful project for the hikers to wear such a thing that is comfortable and can be easily transformed into their needs. This project will give a new side for hiking that will be much easier and comfortable than before.
