To Explore the Impact of Perceived Environmental Threat and Perceived Inconvenience on Green Air Transportation. A mediating role of Service Quality
(UMT, Lahore, 2023) Asad Ali Khan; Hafiz Yaseen Ali; Taha Ali; Maaz Khan
This study aims to investigate the impact of perceived environmental threats and perceived inconvenience on Green air transportation, with a focus on the mediating role of service quality. As environmental concerns and convenience factors play a crucial role in shaping consumers' choices and behaviors, understanding their impact on air transportation is of great importance to both practitioners and policymakers. This research will employ a quantitative approach, using a survey questionnaire to collect data from Green airlines. The questionnaire will include measures of perceived environmental threats, perceived inconvenience, service quality, and green air transportation. The findings of this research will provide insights into the factors influencing Green air transportation and the potential mediating role of service quality. It is expected that perceived environmental threats, such as pollution, noise, and carbon emissions, will negatively impact travelers' perceptions and intentions to use air transportation. Similarly, perceived inconvenience, encompassing factors like airport congestion, flight delays, and security procedures, has expected to have a negative effect. Furthermore, service quality has expected to mediate the relationship between perceived environmental threats, perceived inconvenience, and intentions to use air transportation. The airlines should spend money on purchasing eco-friendly goods, recycling natural resources, and donating to environmental organizations in order to implement green air transportation. Airlines must prioritize safety in these implementations.
