    Automatic border security system
(UMT.Lahore, 2016) Tamoor Shahid; Hamza Zubair; Ahmad Hassan Daniyal; Fawad Amjad
Securing the borders has always been the first priority of any nation, anywhere in the world. Governments spend billions every year to secure the borders properly. A very common solution to this problem is to simply plot a soldier equipped with weapons and binoculars. They have to stand right in front of the borders, on the towers to look thoroughly the border using the binoculars. This is a very old technique and requires the availability of the guardian soldier continuously. With the development in the technology, so many latest techniques have been developed in order to secure the border and this is one of them. The project was designed keeping in mind the need of continuous surveillance and quick response towards any movement or disturbance on the border. Circuit will only take thirty seconds only for the first time it is installed. In this time the sensors will adjust the infrared radiations coming from every object coming in its range. Whenever it detects the change in radiations, it will start responding and system will be activated. In the normal condition, camera will be on and will keep giving the view of 180 degrees. The system is very easy to carry and we can easily change its locations and plot it at multiple places according to our needs. In case of motion or any disturbance, sensors will be activated and send the analog signal to the microcontroller. Microcontroller will read the signal and transmit it to the receiver. Servo motor on the receiving end will move the camera and laser beam towards the sensor where motion occurred. Man viewing the screen will have the view of the location and at the same time torch will enlighten the area in case if there is no light. In this way any kind of disturbance will easily be tackled.
