    Pak electron company (PEL) is one the leading and oldest composite electrical equipment manufacturing company of Pakistan established in 1956 which is producing variety of products now a days. In this competitive environment every company is striving to be the prominent. PEL manufactures 250 deep freezers daily while performing number of non-value added activities. Increase in lead time, breakdown of various machines etc. This project mainly focuses on creating current and future state value stream maps of the deep freezer department to remove all the non-value added activities. Decreasing lead time as well number of workers up to 50%. And providing recommendations to improve current operations within the department.
