    Smart resume screening
(UMT Lahore, 2022) Abrar Rasul Qadri; Ahmad Hassan; Muhammad Usman Ikram; Najeeb-Ur-Rehman
Hiring the best talent is a crucial and challenging task that every company goes through. Recruiters have to find the best potential applicants for their company from a large pool of applicants in as minimum time as possible. According to a study, a recruiter spends 7.4 seconds to be precise on each applicant resume. Given the time it is quite clear that their decision is based on “gut feelings” or “prior experience” rather than logic. Our product will enable the recruiter to find the best potential candidate from a large pool of talent who have applied for a specific job post without having to go over every single resume received. Our web-based system will help the recruiters first shortlist the relevant potential candidates and then rank the shortlisted candidates based upon the parameters selected by the recruiter. A report will be generated in the end, containing all information which can be viewed online or downloaded.
