    Automated mini conveyor belt using PLC

    In most industrial systems, there is a need for filtration. Sorting can be done using a variety of methods depending on size, color, weight, use of machine vision (image processing), material and more. For example, in a thermal power station, an electromagnetic filtering process is used to filter ferromagnetic materials into coal. This project contains materials such as PLC, conveyors, color sensors, electronic system and motors. The aim of this project is to introduce the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and the Ladder logic programming based control system used in the color filter. Items are sorted by color. The main transmission is supported by two branches to load the key to that as it is separated electronically and accepted by proximity sensors. In this project HMI [1] provides a convenient place to build easy communication between people and equipment.

    Design and fabrication of autonomous disinfectant robot

    Epidemic diseases have adverse effects on the health of people. Diseases like COVID-19 spread through contact; for this purpose, there should be a system to limit the spread using disinfection techniques. For this purpose, a disinfectant robot was designed and fabricated. It has spray movement in two directions: one in the horizontal direction with about 180 degrees of movement, and the other in the vertical direction, which uses a timing belt mechanism passing over the pulley shaft of a stepper motor, while a servo motor is used for horizontal movement. The mechanism is capable of moving the spraying system up to a height of about 45 cm from its lowest position. It has obstacle detection capability with autonomous movement of the platform. This robot moves autonomously along a path. Static structural analysis was also performed on ANSYS, showing that the total deformation of the mechanism with the timing belt is 0.00011 m. Another analysis was performed on the base of the robot with the respective weights applied, showing a total deformation of 0.00013 m and a factor of safety of 15, indicating that the design is safe. Final tests indicate that the robot effectively moves autonomously through the path and detects obstacles when they are 0.5 to 0.8 ft away. Experiments indicate that the robot can spray disinfectant liquid 3 to 4 ft away from it with a flow rate of 0.096 liters per minute.

    Design of underground parking garage

    Design of Underground Parking Garage The current parking situation in UMT is an outside plot. This plot is not paved with proper asphalt or any wearing course. When it rains, the parking area tends to get muddy because the surface of the plot consists of soil and brick ballast. This causes great difficulty for vehicles to maneuver. The parking garage plays an important role in mobility. As paring issue come from the public behavior itself. So, that’s why for the design of the underground parking garage. For this parking garage we shall utilize the playing field/ground of UMT, while preserving the ground surface for the playing purposes. So, it is very important for a structural engineer, one has to consider all the possible loadings and design of structural elements (beams & columns) as well as to save the cost to compete in the ever growing competent market.To analyze and design the underground parking structure and to check the feasibility of structure, appropriate manual calculation was carried out after finalizing the dimensions. A detailed analysis was carried out using the software STAAD Pro. The architectural drawings were done by using the software approach called Auto-CAD.

    In the area of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), there are measurements (readings) which deviate from the normal pattern of sensed data; caused by errors and other malicious attacks on the network. There is a requirement of such procedures which can help us identify and diagnose such data bases. Such theoretical techniques have been made. The manipulation of these theories, in Wireless Sensor Networks, is the task which is important and serious. To get an effective and efficient approach to get whole knowledge of different attributes while data sensing. Eventually, we will have the knowledge about outliers i.e. anomalies and actual events occurred. We implement few techniques and finally make a new approach to attain our goals.

    The project “SMART HOME” is basically a Home Automation System based on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Core purpose of this project is to oblige the disabled persons who cannot easily reach to the circuit board. Architecture of this project has three major divisions. First and most important part is the android application which is basically a UI for our whole system and it send commands to the server. Second one is web server and DB which serve as central controlling unit of this project and communicates with both ends (Android+Arduino). The third one is hardware part (Arduino) which is attached to your home to control home appliances. The home appliances can be controlled through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. This project also focuses on power saving factor and security. In addition some AI concepts are also used to manage and control home appliances automatically and efficiently.
