    Leadership styles as viewed by secondary school head teachers of Lahore city
    (UMT, Lahore, 2001) ABDUL GHAFFAR SHEIKH
    The primary purpose of the study was to determine the degree of leadership styles of Govt. and private (registered) secondary school headteachers of Lahore City. Six hypotheses were formulated for the study. All the hypotheses were related to demographic variables of types; sex, age, marital status, experience, status of school and qualification. Item by item analysis of the questionnaire focused on the thirty dimensions of the leadership styles concept has been tested. The population of study consisted of 323 school headteachers ^ of Lahore City. Stratified random sampling was used. The total sample size consisted of 323 headteachers, therefore 30 headteachers were drawn as a sample. A questionnaire of 30 items was used as a research instrument. All the six null hypotheses were rejected. It was concluded that a significant difference was found in the views of headteachers towards leadership styles of secondary school of Lahore City.
