US-Iran equation invariably remained in turmoil. The former has used the latter strategically to
subdue the decade-old conflicted region; the Middle East. The wish of the US, inspiring western
democracy in Iran, was tarnished by the Islamic Revolution(Iranian Revolution) in 1979. Since
then, Iran and the US did not blink and both pursued their strategic goals.
