Item Feasibility report of a day care center and preschool(UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, 2015) Aamir Abbas; Saad Ahmed Khan; Nida Qureshi; Maryam Khan; Muhammad ImranIn this project we have conducted the feasibility study of a day care centre and a preschool institute. The proposed plan is to open an institute offering child care and early education facilities. The institute would have various branches at different locations in Lahore city.It would offer services like Infant Care for new-born children with minimum 6 months of age and above to Kindergarten for kids up to 5 years of age. The study would likewise give data in regards to venture chance to setting up a Day Care Center in Lahore city. The project feasibility would indicate whether its viable to invest in this project or notand may shape the premise of a critical investment choice and so as to serve this target, the study covers different parts of task idea advancement, start-up expense, financing, operational and promoting costs. It also gives us detail description of the financial structure of the proposed institute and the most suited financing options that are available and should be used in order to maximize profitability. Feasibility report would also covers the locations where day care centres are going to be developed, geographic market area that they will serve, competitor analysis, market demand for child care in that area, marketing strategies etc. The methodology is to include an environmental scan with consideration given to financial and opportunity costs, expected returns, existing infrastructure, benefits for children and families, community expectations and capacity for service delivery.The establishment of day care centres would facilitate working women to better concentrate on their jobs and have a relief from their reproductive responsibilities during their working hours.
