School leader as an academic entrepreneur

Given study was purposed to identify the qualities of school leaders as an Academic Entrepreneur to promote quality education at PEF schools. Total 20 participants from different PEF schools working as principals were selected with age ranges hit (40-50) years both male and females. Sample of the study were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using interview guide consisted of 20 questions through semi structured interview. Exploratory research design was used under qualitative research design. Thematic analysis was followed to code the participant’s verbatim to make subthemes and major themes. Results of the study revealed that strategies, timely planning and efforts of school leader enable them to develop advance school system and quality education at PEF school. Consistent meetings with parents, involvement of students in extracurricular activities, capable staff increase the confidence and level of motivation among students which influence their result oriented behaviour. Review of literature and results of previous studies highly supported the evaluated themes of present study. This study would be implemented to promote quality education at government and private schools.
