Item The impact of knowledge management practices in improving students’ learning outcomes at university level(UMT Lahore, 2021-06-17) AMNA HAFEEZThe aim of this study is to investigate the impact of knowledge management practices on improving students’ learning outcomes at the university level. The study was quantitative and descriptive in nature. The population comprised all master’s level students from universities in Lahore. A convenient sampling technique was used to draw a sample of 300 students (Male = 100, Female = 200). Two survey instruments, measuring knowledge management practices and learning outcomes in research, were used to collect data. The reliability of the instruments was 0.80 and 0.81. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson r, independent samples t-test, and linear regression) with SPSS version 21.0. The findings revealed a strong and significant relationship between knowledge management practices and learning outcomes in research. It was observed that master’s level students could effectively use information to meet their needs and understand the information shared by their teachers. Moreover, the majority of students reported receiving complete information about their subjects, believing the information, finding it useful, and having easy access to it. The findings also showed that students found sufficient information for their work, although some reported difficulty in interpreting and manipulating the information they needed. Additionally, students indicated that the information was of quality, fact-based, and trustworthy, and that it was applicable to their work. Furthermore, the study concluded that students had a good understanding of the research paradigm. They were able to compare and contrast quantitative and qualitative research, identify strengths and weaknesses of quantitative research, and formulate research hypotheses, research questions, problem statements, and significance. Students also demonstrated knowledge of sampling techniques, instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis techniques using SPSS software.
