Item Risk Factors Affecting Child Mortality in Punjab, Pakistan(UMT.Lahore, 2022) Muhammad Adeel JavaidThe main objective of this study is to research the patterns in relative contribution to each chose factor which makes the opportunity of a child's death extra time in Pakistan for children born five years preceding 2017. Consideration was paid to the job of significant socio- economic factor, biological and maternal, environmental factors, nutrition deficiency factors and health seeking behavior factors. This investigate explores whether the relationship of a particular factor identified with under-five mortality endures after some time. Information from The Punjab Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS), 2017-18, is a survey of households was utilized. Births that happened in three proceedings years' survey were analyzed in relation to the survival of the child and socio- economic factor, biological and maternal , environmental factors, nutrition deficiency factors and health seeking behavior factors. Logistic regression is utilized to decide the general contribution of each factor for the time frame under survey. Child mortality is significantly associated with eleven factors to be specific; mother watching TV, mother education, place of residence, family wealth, child ever received any vaccination, mother ever given birth, child delivery by caesarean, source of drinking water, mother breastfeed, Child received a vitamin ‘A’ dose within last 6 month and age of Husband.
