Tinker bell is a fictional character introduced by J.M. Barrie in his 1904 play "Peter Pan". Since then she has appeared in a variety of Peter Pan and other Disney movies. Tinker Bell has since become a widely recognized unofficial mascot of The Walt Disney Company and the centerpiece of its Disney Fairies Media Franchise including the DVD film series Tinker Bell From all the Tinker Bell Film series, my thesis takes inspiration from the 2nd movie "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure". Tinker Bell has been a huge part of my childhood. It is one of my favorite cartoon characters. She is absolutely adored by the kids. They love to own her books, watch her movies and are fascinated by her magical world. For my thesis, I want to produce a collection of home textiles with tinker bell theme for a baby girl's room. Although one can easily find such collection of fabric prints abroad; featuring their kid’s favorite cartoon characters. There are no such fabrics available in Pakistani markets. So many parents look for textiles with tinker bell or other fairies/pixies on it to decorate their kid’s room but usually can't find it in the market. I will not only create digital designs but also use different textile techniques to create designer fabric suitable for a kid's room.
