Item Parental acceptance/ rejection, borderline personality and Psychosocial wellbeing in university students(UMT Lahore, 2020) Amna Mahmood; Farhana Riaz; Rabia Shabbir ButtThe purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between parents and children what if parents accepts their children and changes occur in their personality vice versa. Determine the relationship between parental acceptance and rejection, borderline personality disorder and psychosocial wellbeing the objective of the study to predict how the Parental acceptance and rejection impacts the Borderline personality disorder and psychosocial wellbeing and determine that the parental acceptance and rejection helps to decrease/increase the borderline personality disorder and psychosocial wellbeing. The hypothesis “There is likely to be relationship between parental acceptance and rejection, borderline personality and psychosocial wellbeing” A cross sectional sample size of N =170 university students including men = 85 and women = 85 with the age range of 18-26 years (M = 22.45, SD = 3.14). The sample was recruited by using non-probability purposive sampling technique from the different private and public sectors universities. Those parents accept their children have low level of personality disorder and emotional stability. Parents reject their children have high level of personality disorder and emotional stability.
