Item The role of situation analysis in the provision of remedies by healthcare professionals in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah(UMT Lahore, 2018) Hafiz Adil JahangirSituation analysis is a systematic collection and evaluation of all integral components of a situation, which includes person, surroundings, and the span in which a particular event is taking place. It identifies the external and internal forces that may influence an event and may divert it to an entirely different scenario. It is important to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with personnel, their environment, and timings while providing and suggesting remedies for physical and psychological issues. Healthcare professionals face various situations in their clinical practices where they need to apply their professional skills to catch the causative agents of different diseases by keeping in view all the associated factors to which the patients are concerned. Besides treating the diseased part of the patient, the team of healthcare professionals is to consider the mind, spirit, and emotions of the patients, and an analysis of an individual’s state, span, and nature of disease, along with the patient’s socio-economic, family, environmental, and cultural background, plays a vital role in the provision of the best healthcare delivery. This study comprises pragmatic insights into healthcare systems in which physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals deal with physical and mental disorders of people and provide specified rather than generalized plans of treatment after having a peep into their specific complaints and individual situations. By finding the importance of situation analysis as revealed in the Holy Quran and narrated in the sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), this research documents the importance of situational constituents, their coordination, and their application in clinical setups and functional roles in good medical practices.
