    Relationship among secondary school students study habits, academic engamement and acedemic performance

    This study investigates the relationship between secondary school students' study habits, academic engagement, and academic performance in the district of Panjgur. The sample comprises 505 secondary school students; selected using quantitative research stratified random sampling. The study aims to explore how study habits and academic engagement influence academic performance among these students. Data was collected through validated questionnaires, which assessed students' study habits and levels of academic engagement. Additionally, academic performance was measured based on students' overall grades in their respective subjects. The results of the study revealed significant correlations between study habits, academic engagement, and academic performance. Students who exhibited effective study habits and higher levels of academic engagement tended to achieve better academic outcomes. Conversely, those with poor study habits and lower academic engagement demonstrated lower academic performance. Based on these findings, several recommendations can be made to improve academic performance among secondary school students. Firstly, educators and parents should emphasize the importance of developing effective study habits, such as time management, goal-setting, and regular review of material. Secondly, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and academic engagement can further enhance students' academic outcomes. Lastly, schools should consider implementing targeted interventions and support programs for students who struggle with their study habits or engagement.
