Method of solving 5th order algebraic spline by fractional order derivative

A C1 algebraic spline of order five with shape parameters provides flexibility in controlling the shape of the curve to develop smoothness and continuity in spline curve. The main advantage of algebraic spline of order five is to provide good local control over ordinary spline. The spline curve passes through all of its control points and still be able to change the basic shape of the curve according to user's choice, which means curve can be manipulated without avoiding the given set of data points. Mathematically, the derivatives should be continuous at the joining points of the curve. The degree of smoothness of this spline is C1. This paper presents an algebraic spline of order five as a better alternative to the cubic polynomial spline (CPS). There are three degrees of freedom, and which can be used to change the shape of spline. These parameters are also called the shape parameters.
