Abstract
The present study was about the knowledge of current affairs acquired by the children with mental retardation the main objectives were identify essential knowledge of current affairs useful for children with mental retardation,find out the sources of getting knowledge of current affairs of children with mental retardation.The study also helped to evaluate knowledge of current affairs useful for the children with mental retardation.Twenty nine(29) children were involved in this resesrch.
Research was descriptive based on inventory taken from 29 children with mental retardation .The data was analyzed and it was found that from 5 schools from which data is taken special education and training centre.low ranking was sadia campus centre.Cronbach alpha valve (.923)showed that tool was technically adequate.
