Abstract
Divorce exists in every society, and culture of the world, the marriage and divorce can’t be separated from each other, because they are dependent on each other, The Current study aim to find the perception of women about divorce, the prime focus is on the factors behind the perception construction about something indicate that there have been some construction upon which this perception is created, so we were trying to see this both thing. The factors analyses under the perception of construction individual theory, feminist Theory and Dual Income Theory. For this purpose we have designed an interview, to ask from our sample, and that interview was structured interview, and our sample was women from Johar town, and we interviewed them alone so they can answer easily and without any pressure. We have divided our interview into three section, the study was conducted using purposing sampling, and the sample was divided into three segments. • Segment One (5 women) were married from 1-5 Year. • Segment Two (5women) were married from 6-10 Years. • Segment Three (5 Women) were married from 10 to Onwards. The Data was gathered using interview guide which is divided into three segment. • Perception and understanding of Divorce. • Motivators and inhibitors of Divorce. • Functions and Effects of Divorce. Finding suggest that socialization and Family pressure and Children construct the perception of women about divorce
