    Among the high altitudes of Karakorum, Himalayas and Hindukush mountain ranges in northern Pakistan, there lies a land of rugged barren huge mountains, with lush-green fields in the district of Chitral, usually known as KALASH. A home of Kafirs. This is how people around Kalash refer to that beautiful place. Kalash is a lush green valley comprising of many more hidden valleys in it. It is a commonly known valley among the people of Pakistan, but very few know the traditional, religious, cultural and ethical norms of the people of Kalash. The life pattern of local people is worth viewing as they form a unique aesthetics of their living style. The people are disconnected from Chitral as well as major other parts of Pakistanand are facing serious threats because of being a minority in Pakistan. They live, work, eat, and drink, on their own inside the valleys of Kalash and form a unique living. A unique style of living is being practiced there since many years, and no new dimensions of life are known to this wonderful green historic valley. They celebrate in huge amount and gather a huge number of tourists from abroad and locally as well. They celebrate through festivals commonly known worldwide. Kalash in all the mix-up is lacking behind due to poor, facilitation and governance. This project comprises of study of Kalash valley, their culture and their needs which will result in master planning of a tourism complex that contains residences, hotels, and restaurants with added facilities of a cultural complex that can cater the world famous cultural events of the Kalasha people. All this will be done keeping in view the ethical needs of the people of Kalash and the climate, material and structure of the present-day society.

The journey of growing up is overwhelming. Gradually you change from someone so vulnerable to ultimately surrounding yourself by a shell of maturity. Childhood is also a very tender and delicate stage in the lifespan of human being. Requires a great deal of love care and affection. This place will provide them all the facilities which they will be needing to cope up with world Providing an environment for the orphans and homeless that will nurture them to be strong, confident and educated individuals. Their personalities will be a role model for the world as they will be skilled, hardworking and independent. They will have a home with love, happiness and care along with a physically, emotionally and spiritually nourishing environment Quality living and standard education with recreational and creative activities to make them their lives fun and happening the goal is to develop a conducive learning environment to boost the cognitive development. of the child and the ability to explore and learn new skills. The objective is to apply a community integrating design by providing communal spaces for social interaction for social growth. This can also lead to children being able to learn how to take initiative and react positively to the challenges they will face, saving them from exploitation that can lead them to become criminals and transforming them into future leaders.     It is a lonely existence to be a child with a disability which no-one can see or understand, you exasperate your teachers, you disappoint your parents, and worst of all you know that you are not just stupid.” –Susan Hampshire The straight fact is that the physically and mentally disabled in Pakistando not receive the support that would be common in a society sensitive and compassionate towards their disabled citizens. They are heckled, disrespect and pointed out as different by the population at large. Furthermore our public infrastructure does not incorporate suitable design features to aid the disabled in the public realm thus leaving them at the mercy of difficulties beyond those they are already facing. Worst of all, disabled children suffer greatly in their education due to inadequate facilities, incompetent teachers, deficient teaching methodologies and severely lacking awareness schemes for the general public. It is of utmost importance to address issues regarding the education of special children, not only for the children themselves but the ensure a healthy society and a sustainable economy. Reports by the World Bank, UNDP (United Nations Development Program) and UNICEF )United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) point towards the long term unsustainability of economic growth, unless strategic shifts are instituted to improve social sector performance. At the helm of their efforts is to establish and institute which will serve as the crown jewel of their efforts to counter the challenge of special children education. To provide these children with all the educational & training facilities to enhance their capabilities and rehabilitate them in the society.” Furthermore, it will set the precedent for the design of public infrastructure, which facilitates the disabled in the public realm. We must have to provide educational institutes and universities in small cities and towns and as well as these institutes can accommodate the surroundings and small areas which are related with other small cities and towns of Punjab.

    The primary aim of this project is to provide a new tourist attraction. My thesis is aimed at the development of a beachside resort. It is basically planning of the residential and recreational spaces along the sea shore and to make it a hub for entertainment and holidays. Due to enormous increase in tourism worldwide; during the last decade of the 20th centuries, the need and desire of resorts have been increased considerably. Such environment friendly practices can be cost efficient, provide marketing opportunities and increase tourism. Thus, city of Karachi is one finest location for this purpose.

    BLUE SEA AQUARIUM (TO CONSERVE IS WHAT THEY DESERVE)

    Indian Ocean houses various types of marine life which is continuously facing extinction because of mass toxic wastes that are being drained into it. This disturbance in their natural habitat has already resulted in the extinction of many species that live underwater. The main purpose of this project is to generate awareness amongst the masses by showing them the beauty of the underwater world and creating live animal aquariums. A variety of species will be kept here including freshwater and saltwater species. There will be an auditorium which will showcase documentaries about how we are harming our nature and what we need to do to avoid it from happening. Also, a museum will be provided to educate people about the past ocean life which is now extinct.

However, gender differences still exist in Pakistan, especially in the education sector. “The United Nations Development Program has presented some facts in a report that public expenses on education make up only 2.7 percent of the GDP in Pakistan.” Education is the process of bringing desirable change into the behavior of human beings. It can also be defined as the “Process of imparting or acquiring knowledge or habits through instruction or study”. The behavioral changes must be directed towards a desirable end. They should be acceptable socially, culturally and comically and result in a change in knowledge, skill, attitude and understanding. To establish a state of the art training facility for the development of human resource and management sciences. To promote higher education in the country and alleviate poverty. To promote interdisciplinary education, research and outreach specifically. Therefore, the aims of the proposed university are as follows:- • To provide best learning environment as a mean for progress • Personality development as an aim of education • Interaction and social environment ROLE OF UNIVERSITY IN PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: University is the place where a person polish himself and make his own identity through discussions and interaction with different professional and students and teachers to make himself more determinant towards his destiny and goals. As a result of this project, the students get better opportunity and access to higher education is an improved learning environment. They will turn be able to contribute more positively in the socio economic development of the country as a whole because Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual .in its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another. Education correlates with nation-build .Both of them complement each other .A nation cannot be built without education. With education, professionals are natured that will enhance nation building. To continue to build nations, educate citizens, because education shapes the attitude and behaviors and values of citizens. These are qualities that are needed for nation building and it is only education that will bring those mechanics’.

    In this era of chaos, unemployment, inflation what should be the role of an architecture student? It is never too hard to bring light, color and play in the buildings we design but that is not the only thing we need to do. What we all need to do is to create something that brings attachment, bondage and emotions with the architecture. It should not just give employment but should be a new charming activity that would motivate, relax, encourage the youth to think beyond reality and come up with new creative ideas. Pakistan needs to create architectural attractions. The only thing we lack is the forum for recreational activities. It not only creates revenues but also gets fame if it is of an international standard. We living in Pakistan soul totally promote our culture. But we also need to bring new ideas regarding architecture to start working in a new direction on which the whole world is moving. Every country has theme parks for which they are famous. The culture of theme parks should also be promoted in Pakistan because we do not have a single proper theme park. The theme park industry around the world is growing day by day. So we need to step up and move in the league of finding fun in architecture as designers. This thesis explores the possibility of designing a Disneyland park, where people can relax and enjoy the themes, which is being evolved from mythical stories of Disney movies. Moving through an environment is a visual, spatial, sequential experience. Architectural determinism is a theory which claims that built environment is a theory which claims that the built environment is the chief determinant if social behavior. It says that design can control behavior, that architecture can limit and channel behavior in a predictable manner, supported by Adolf Behne when he asserted“you can kill a man with a building just as easily as with an axe

    Criminal behavior in juveniles is hard to describe using a definition. Since no agreed definition can be found. But the anti-social acts and behavior of youngsters is often regarded as juvenile delinquency. Adulthood starts from 18 years of age and above, a person who commits a crime and is of or under 18 years of age is termed as a juvenile delinquent. Over centuries, the role of a prison has been that of a dark dungeon, implementing cruel punishments. This has not only made the crime graph go higher but has also destroyed countless lives. This report focuses on rehabilitation through architecture, employing environmental psychology and corrections through humane treatment of the prisoners while not compromising on security. Further, presents an insight in the conditions that prevail, and the number of juvenile prisons in Punjab, Pakistan. The data provides a detailed insight to the facilities provided, design patterns, security and counselling in the juvenile prisons. It further provides a proposed design for a juvenile prison to be built in Lahore, Pakistan. Juvenile schools or prisons lack in number in our country as compared to the crime ratio and they are important as the common incarceration of adults and juveniles together can lead to a greater chance of negative influence on the minors. Punjab has the highest percentage of juvenile offenders in the country and still there is not a single court dedicated exclusively to juvenile cases. Furthermore, there are only 2 juvenile prisons in Punjab which are long-standing and are least suitable for such facilities.

    God created humans to live and re-produce and above all that to obey his commands. God made the earth for us to live in and He created perfect atmospheric environments for us to survive. The condition for survival was super imposed for the existence of humans, and science has proved today. “Expansion and movement is called life” Also, Pakistanis a new born country with huge figure of population, our mistake in town planning sector will be more vital then the western countries mistake that they did one centaury back and we have time to reconsider. Urban sprawl in Karachi has reached an alarming degree; this situation has been manifest in traffic congestion, energy crises and infrastructure. There are several root causes for this sprawl and one of the major ones is strip commercialization, under utilization of land parcels and overwhelming low density residential. The project aims to promote Nodular Development, which would be based on live/work/relax paradigm. In which all the facilities would be near to living and working space which would be a high rise mixed used development. There is dire need in Karachi for concentrated large scale development project that control sprawl through developing underutilized parcels of land, which would regenerate city center through attracting capitol in a large scale development and economic activity. This thesis is also an attempt to change the housing paradigm in DHA phase VIII and Sahilextension, which will make this phase more live able and attractive for newcomers in this phase. Today the main problem that we face is gain of shelter and to fulfill that we started making shelter with different typologies, but the most common one is the vertical shelter known as high rise. The idea of going vertical is highly favorable to site location along the Red Sea and city's demography. Ultimately, city will tend to pile up along sea coast as city keep on growing .Further such mega projects have positive impact regarding; technology frankness, economy, tourism and high land value.

    “Food is a common ground. It is a universal experience.”- Jean Beard Food, a basic necessity of life without which humans cannot survive. It is also a very good source of earning an income. With time it also got revolutionized like all other aspects of human life. Those who could cook delicious and innovative food have been esteemed from the very beginning. Internationally they have been ranked as chefs and locally as khansamas. With the advent of globalization food chains started to emerge. The face of culinary world has changed. Chefs are now household names, cooking shows have taken television by storm and in the same way new and innovative restaurants and eateries emerged and replaced old ones. This change has also transformed the perspective of people. Now it is a fast growing and reputable profession. People in our country are getting inclined to this field too. Increase in the number of food channels, food events as well as competitions related to it. People have started their own teaching classes at home and also on social media too. The focus is to design a space which would be user friendly and which would try to minimize the study stress and provide a soothing environment. To help in catering the gap between public, private and industrial sectors, why not provide a state of the art institute that is fulfilling the institutional and recreational purpose. It would also provide a platform in providing the researchers to present and discuss their research work.

    De-addiction center is a thesis project that explores the possibilities and affects that design, and its relation to nature and therapeutic environment, has on healing and the overall health of the inhabitants of a structure. In times of sickness and injury, time is spent with professionals in environments that are meant to repair our health in a timely, painless, sensible manner. These environments can be designed to promote a healthy mind and body through a strong connection between the built environment and its natural surroundings. There are many factors that are involved in our body's biological recovery time, and many of these biological responses are induced through our emotions, which can be controlled in some degree by the spaces that surround us. The spaces we inhabit and their exposure to natural elements, such as sunlight and fresh air, contribute to a patient's recovery process. Successful completion of this project will give a better understanding of what people with dependencies need in order to recover from physical and psychological impacts in the most efficient, effective manner possible, also encouragement to take a control over their addictive stance. Health care facilities are often times associated as being sterile, artificial environments. By designing spaces that are mentally stimulating, accomplished in part, through their connections with nature, a more holistic level of well-being can be maintained for the users.

    Court is an institution that the government sets up to settle disputes through a legal process. Courts are important because they help protect our Constitutional rights to equal protection and due process under the law. Both criminal and civil courts provide the opportunity for the parties to have their cases heard by neutral judges and/or juries. The judicial complex and its architecture has a representative role in a country's justice system. The system has to be just, efficient and secure with minimum complication and maximum output. The idea is to design a district court that enable the system to work swiftly and provide justice to society and maximum security for both the public and the professionals practicing law in the courts. Moreover, provision of appropriate facilities and space, considering the special function of courts and provision of technology throughout the court and converting paper work of court to technologybased environment. The users of different kinds and nature will use the complex. Therefore, the complex has to care for all the different kinds of users. The project will be located in Nankana Sahib City in order to improve the infrastructure and provide the facilities which complete the requirements of the court. The project must express stability, integrity and rigor of judicial process in the district.

    The project derives itself as a promotion of motorsports in the country evolving as a hybrid of various facilities interlinked as a fusion of diverse building characters in typology forming an amalgam with the architecture of speed and motion by driving lines showing sweeping sense of dynamism resulting in the formulation of architectural diversity. The First chapter gives an introduction of the project without going into many details concerning the space program; followed by it in chapter two is the historical background of the project and the literature based on more relevant information that could be in help. The Third chapter gives an overview of some real-life case studies relevant to my proposed project with an analysis of the outcomes that led me to chapter Four, the conduction of the data and space program required for the design. Finally, to wrap up the thesis paper, a site selection analysis occurred in the Fifth chapter where three sites were proposed and analyzed through different criteria’s collected from the previous chapters then studied well to come up with the most suitable site for the project

These centers provide opportunities to tradesman, industrialist, scientist, and inventors etc. To project their achievements and convey their measure to the general public as well as the local land and foreign manufacture. Many countries also including the 3rd world countries have developed and elaborate infrastructure to establish permanent facilities including spacious fair ground and additional buildings to house conferences, conventions, national and international fairs etc. But unfortunately there exist only two such type of complex in Pakistan(Lahore&Karachi) whereas this type of facilities exist mostly in all industrial and large cities of developed and partially developed countries. As such, for reason of prestige and image, the proposed complex would add to country's pride.

    The luxury hotel industry has become a significant segment of the general. Hotel star rating systems are widely recognized as the definitive way to ascertain a hotel's overall quality, but the rankings can differ wildly from one country to another. As it turns out, each country usually has its own way to rank hotels from one to five stars, established by a range of authorities, from tourism bodies to government agencies. But while there's no international standard that hotels across the world adhere to, stars do pertain to a hotel's level of service, amenities, cleanliness, location and price. Hospitality industry and is undergoing expeditious expansions. The aim of thesis project is to understand the technical function of a hotel complex. Its relationship with surrounding with emphasis on exterior setting in conjunction with interior view and outlook. Hotel provides regarding tourism, recreation, business etc. The city of Faisalabad is referred to as business heart of Pakistan. Welcome a lot of foreigner's business class for trading and other purposes. For this reason my motto is to provide luxurious accommodation and services to these users that they should not be deprived of having a hotel with standards facilities. Besides solving out the accommodation problems I have an opportunity to solve problems in hotel design and create interesting forms and good views through natural and built environments.

    In order to enhance our culture, to properly use it, we need to accept it. The cultural center is being designed for awareness of the power of our history. The project not only contains the real historical remains but how the foreign technology should actually be implemented in our lives. The project is considered to help the economy flourish with the increase in tourism. The Center contains an Auditorium, a Museum and Library, A Guest house and a Shopping Mall. A Museum that will have galleries of all major Mughal emperors starting from Babar to Aurangzeb, a timeline containing all the remains of these Emperors. It will also have galleries of Present artistic work, from Ceramic to sculpture making art. Library is yet another part created in order to for those who would like to read about the past of these emperor. The buildings will have Classical architectural features that may help to create an ambiance of the undoubtedly wondrous architectural era
