The goal is to understand how these emotional nuances engage readers and influence the story's tone. Using the qualitative method and Mahlberg and McIntyre's model, the study analyzes the entire text of the novel. Sketch Engine is the main tool used to analyze word frequencies and associations. The research includes keyword analysis, collocation analysis, concordance analysis, and qualitative interpretation. The findings show that Shafak uses specific words to evoke strong emotions, shaping character development and themes of love and enlightenment. The study suggests that authors and translators consider semantic prosody to enhance the emotional impact of their stories.
