The population of the study was children with hearing impairment studying in grade 9 to 12 in Lahore city. The primary purpose of the study was to take the information on hearing loss on self-esteem of children with hearing impairment. The secondary purpose of this study was to find out the factors affecting self-esteem of children with hearing impairment. The researchers collected date with the help of Rosenberg self-esteem scale as this scale is considered a standard in measuring self-esteem. Forty five students with hearing impairment studying in grade 9-12 were selected through purposive sampling. The data were tabulated and analyzed by the help of SPSS. The analysis showed significant difference in the self-esteem of postnatal and prenatal hearing loss, using sign language, and oral language.
