The underlying interests of both parties beneath the relationship are the drivers of their newly developed bond. This development has brought paramount changes to global politics. Also, the relationship between Pakistan and China may have prominent implications due to the increasing inclination of China towards Taliban. Important to mention, CPEC is an important project between China and Pakistan which is going to bring myriad infrastructural and economic changes in the region. There are speculations if the increasing relations between China and Taliban may create security concerns for CPEC. This research covers the reasons and logistics behind the China-Taliban nexus and their interests within with the lens of Rational Choice Theory. As far as the research method is concerned, documentary analysis is used to evaluate and asses the literature on the topics.
